TASCAM DA-20 Mkll professional DAT machine recorder
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a good cheap way to record stereo digital masters. A very expensive machine in the 90s can now be got for a much lower price. Has two analog ins and two analog outs both RCA. Also has RCA digital in and outs I have digital tapes from the 90s recorded on another machine and they play back as if they were recorded yesterday.

No most of the X5 power amplifier
1 of 1 found this helpful Hook up was straightforward, can use balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA quarter-inch hookups. And has adjustable high-pass low-pass filters settings. Can be configured with multiple settings which can be saved allowing speakers to be set up for different playback situations. Shows digital volume levels on display screen allowing you to set left and right channels equally without having to listen to output. Has many features that I probably will never use but is very flexible and multiple units can be used together to control different sets of speakers. His rack mountable and takes up two spaces. Only drawback it has two 80 mm fans which do produce some noise. But if you have the volume above 50 dB you probably won't ever hear the fans.
