Everyone Should Read This Book

Al Franken has an easy to read style that leaves you wanting more. I find myself reading his books over & over, trying to soak up all the little facts and quotes. He backs up his opinions with facts and softens the digs on his adversaries with dry, sarcastic humor. This particular book is full of information that has been largely overlooked by the mainstream media. Perhaps the most telling thing about the ideas & conclusions he comes to is that the facts he uses are never denied by the other side. Pundits like Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, to name only two, may attempt to assail Franken's character, question his patriotism, and cast doubts upon his motives, but never disprove or even deny any of the facts presented, nor can they poke holes in any of the common sense conclusions that Franken arrives at. Where I come from, that means he is right and they are wrong, period, and that means I feel confident in learning a few things from Al Franken, as well as making his jokes even funnier.
