Connects2 CTKSA01 Saab 9.3 2008 On Complete Double Din Stereo Fitting Kit

Definitely not plug and play.

The stereo surround and actual fitting is good, the iso wiring is terrible. Saabs don't have a switched live going to the stereo so I had to add my own, then I also needed to add a live to power up the factory amp or I wouldn't get any sound. Thinking all is well and good the car is put back together, stereo in, glovebox, console panels and heater vents to find the canbus system won't operate the steering wheel controls. I've contacted connects2 and been told as there's no sticker on the interface its not had the software loaded onto it to operate the steering wheel controls. My options now are to take the car apart take it out put the car back together to return the unit and then when the replacement arrives take take it apart a third time to reinstall their second rate product, go without steering wheel controls or look for a decent manufacturer that can supply me with what I need that I can buy and fit taking the dash apart only once more. This is the second connects2 product I've had trouble with fitting in Saabs and it'll definitely be the last product of there's that I purchase.

Awful item.

Having used JBL items in a few of my cars I thought these would be perfect to replace the standard kit in my latest car, WRONG.... The build quality is terrible, there's a fixed wire snapped off one of the tweeters and the side I've fitted is nowhere near as good as the standard speakers with a blown woofer. Strongly suspect that these are fake items, jbl wouldn't make stuff this bad would they???
