Regulator works great, solved my problem.
Order arrived on time. I ordered the less expensive black painted version, but received the chrome version. Not complaining. Much lower price than the $157 (plus tax) which the local 'stealership' wanted for the plain painted black version. New one worked fine when I fired it up, no more red warning light or "voltage high" diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Voltage across battery terminals was 13.8 VDC, with a tiny uptick when revving the engine. Perfect. According to the box, this unit was made by Transpo. I do not know whether Transpo is the OEM Harley manufacturer. Please research regulator issues before you install a new one - if the stator is bad, it may have caused your old regulator to fail and it will also ruin your new regulator. I was lucky, my stator tested fine. You might also have a bad battery - get it load tested for free at Autozone or O'Reilly's. PS, on a Harley Heritage Classic, the regulator is mounted to a removable metal plate between the front down tubes. You can't loosen or reconnect the two electrical plugs unless you unfasten the regulator from the plate and also unfasten the metal plate from the bike. Don't forget to put dielectric grease on the electrical connectors. Also, make sure your battery terminal connectors are clean and making good contact. Sometimes your problem is basic stuff like that, and sometimes you have more than one problem to correct.

Good looking vintage looking knobs, fit perfectly on Rumble 500 bass amp
Bought two sets of these black and silver vintage style knobs to change out the cheap and ugly looking cream knobs on a brand new Fender Rumble V3 500 combo bass amp. The new knobs fit perfectly (and tightly) on the D-shaped potentiometer shafts. No tools necessary to make the change. The amp now looks like a true, professional Fender product. Gorgeous, in fact. Amazingly, my bandmates noticed the and complimented the new knobs without me pointing out the change to them. I also like being able to replicate my favorite settings by using the numbers on the knob skirt, whereas the ugly cream knobs had no numbers. I thought the pandemic pricing was a bit steep for these replacement knobs, but I swallowed hard and paid the price - I did not want to chance the potential quality issues with generic copy knobs. So these knobs make a great upgrade for Fender RUmble amps. These knobs look to be high quality if you are looking for replacements for your vintage equipment. Note that the description may say the knobs have a 7/8" opening, but they fit my amp's 1/4" D shaped shafts.
