90 Day Extended Warranty

Didn't catch dead cmos battery.

I feel that the extended warranty is a good thing. however I find myself wondering how thorough the extended testing was when they missed a message at post, that required user input to get past, that settings were lost? I kinda figured things like a 50 cent CMOS battery would be changed during the refurbishing process?
