Great turbo fix!
At 260,000 my Focus Tdci turbo failed (the spindle had 10mm free play!!). This cartridge is well engineered, and in my case, the more expensive option (and longer to do) would be to remove the exhaust manifold with rusted bolts; near impossible without removing the cylinder-head or complete engine!
The cartridge came with helpful instuctions to make sure it would be a success, including checking that the oil is primed to the turbo before the engine runs, checking the oil return drain, etc.

Worked but compatibility issue
It was not a direct fir for my BMW E90 330D (M57 engine) 2006. The pipes connect in a different orientation to the supplied product. I managed to transfer the lower section from my existing pump.

Clutch judder now solved
Replaced sachs DMF/Clutch on my Golf Mk5 1.9tdi with this kit. It had a "clutch judder" and this is now solved. However, it has made the engine seem a little bit less refined.
