Great shredder but...

I really could get to like this shredder. It's smooth and relatively quiet - much better than the Fellowes it replaced. The opening is a bit narrower than I would prefer, but that's minor. It worked beautifully right out of the box... and didn't stop. Kept running continuously until I cut the power. Followed instructions, no luck. Tried everything obvious. Called Aurora, told to cut the power cord and mail it back to them before they would ship a replacement shredder. Opposite coast, means I'll be without a shredder for at least a couple of weeks. Very disappointing. UPDATE: the replacement works flawlessly. Much quieter and smoother than any previous shredder. I've yet to jam it. If it wasn't for the defective shredder it replaced, I would have given it five stars.

Keeps us warm on the patio

Assembly was straightforward, under an hour, all parts clearly packed and labelled. Wrench included does the job, but a socket wrench made it easier. Works well, although it takes a couple of steps to light the pilot and then the burner. The controls are placed near the top, and can be awkward for shorter people.
