Great binocular if you can find it!
This is a discontinued model that was replaced by the much more expensive Ultravid, which is lighter and has a better lens coating that sheds water. The Trinovid may not have the latest "bells and whistles," but its optics offer comparable quality at half the cost. Super sharp and outstanding light transmission in low light conditions. It's too bad the Trinovid 8X42 was discontinued by Leica instead of being retained as an option at a lower price point. Highly recommended!
