Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run [Vinyl New] Columbia 1975
    Dec 22, 2015
A voice of authentic power in the void of despair
At a time bereft of street poetry mixed with workingman rock, Springsteen hits a home run here. Seminal work really. Certainly on the list of the 50 greatest LPs of all time - especially if you live your life working with your hands. It is worth owning for Springsteen's guitar work and "The Big Man's" saxophone playing alone, along with the raw integrity in that voice of his. Art on vinyl. Only weakness is Max's unimaginative, stale sounding drumming - overrated. Don't let that stop you, just buy it.
Weezer (Green Album) by Weezer (CD, May-2001, Geffen) ROCK

    Great power pop Lp.
Their best LP, in my opinion. So So So good! Guitar sound is incredible - Hard Pop. Bought this perfect copy because I wore out my original, and am looking forward to wearing this one out too. Don't think, just buy it, you'll love it.

Don't think - just buy this music!
Rip-roaring fun. If you love the old 3 piece sound, with screaming guitar, wonderfully full and thoughtful drumming (who is this Tim Biery, and why isn't he world famous?) - that kind of drumming, and a tastefully driving bass line - you will LOVE this CD. And no, Frank doesn't sound like Jimi, He plays with more precision and less self-importance than Hendrix - Frank's freedom and love feels more human, more actual than dear old drug-fueled Jimi's. Apples and Oranges really. Can't sing worth a darn, but Frank Marino's overwhelming artistry dwarfs all. This man should be heard by more people - spread the message oh you rockers out there.
