Does not fit wide tubes.
I got this clamp to attach a couple of cowbells to my hi-hat stand. It's a heavy duty stand with very thick tubing. This clamp did not fit the wide tubes. For most applications I'd recommend it, but it didn't work in this specific case.

Great sound, lacks mounting hole.
This castanet machine has a great sound with wood clappers instead of the metal ones in LP's offering. Tensioning is easy. This would work well as a tabletop model; I marked down its rating because there is no hole for mounting on an L-arm or threaded cymbal stand. Probably a DIY clamp can be rigged for mounting, but the lack of this small feature is a major oversight in my opinion. That being said, it is enjoyable to play and I am happy with my purchase.

Great punch!
This drum head is fairly dry, with few overtones and a good amount of punch. I would reccomend it for blues, jazz, and classic rock. The head is too thin for harder genres such as metal. Takes tuning easily; I achieved my desired sound quickly. I'm very pleased and would recommend it without reservations save the one caveat that harder hitters will need something stronger.
