Burnt my hair off!!

I had this product on the lowest setting possible and clamped the crimpers on each section of hair for the quickest amount of time humanly possible. So much of my hair has burnt off and fell out. I've either had a faulty pair or these just get ridiculously over heated. I can't get the burning smell out of what hair I actually have left.
