My older AM / FM stereo / 5-CD changer has only a single wire for its antenna. This wire is completely attached to the device; it cannot be unplugged or modified without adversely affecting radio reception. The TERK is compatible with two-wire stereos. I gerry-rigged the single wire with BOTH wires on the TERK amplified antenna. Sadly, NO improvement in radio reception. Customer service couldn't really help address this issue. My bad......
