St.Croix Panfish Series Spinning Rods 6'9, UL, 1pc (PFS69ULF) FREE Baitowel!

NIce-Pricey-Fragile

I was happy to find an UL rod in this length 6'9". I wanted a rod for fishing light jigs and the rod specs out well for that and casts light tackle way out there. One month in I let the screen door close on the blank's tip. Next fish on the line caused the top 3" to snap off. The warranty would fix or replace for $50 ( since it was my fault) plus the cost to ship it there. With an Ebay coupon I had $100 in it , so another $70 or so to repair was not practical. I measured the tip at the break and replaced the tip top guide for about $5. I works fine now and I am more careful with it. In my 50+ years of fishing I never had a rod tip break but most of my rods are mid level and bullet proof. Only other thing is the handle is not very comfortable for me. Nice to see a rod series devoted to us pan fishers though.

Interesting piece

Wanted a skeleton and got a good price on it. Sharp looking and has a solid feel. Hands do not have much contrast making it hard to read at times. Lume on hands is minimal. Loses about six seconds a day. All in all I am happy with it.

Does what it should. Check that you have an audio out to connect to.

Works well. Sound is decent for TV watching. Very aware that you have them on. The longer they are on the more you have to take a break. I found on my TV there was no 'audio out'. Only 'audio in' for an accessory source. I wound up having to connect it to the 'audio out' on my ROKU box. If you have an older set and find they won't work that may be the issue. Otherwise I have enjoyed them.
