Nifty little shooter. High quality out of the box jpegs.
Out of Camera jpegs have little need to edit (let's say they are 85% good).
My Nikon D90 on the other hand, needs a lot of editing to make it pop out (out of camera jpegs are, say, 75% good), but after editing Nikon's jpegs, they look 95-100% good.
EPM1's jpegs, if you edit them, makes them reach only about 90% good - none of my EPM1 edited jpegs can touch D90 edited jpegs

Bottom line is there is basis to the legend hype.
Image quality right there on top with the best of them!!!
This is IMO the perfect camera -
- 700 shot battery life! (I did it with little flash or no flash, little lcd viewing)
- light weight
- unassuming!
Only gripe really is lack of wide angle. If this baby is 24mm or even just 28 mm this is the pocket ulticam!

A powerful camera in the right hands
I loved everything about the original OMD EM5 (which I have, but is suffering from the common Olympus Micro Four Thirds faulty shutter mechanism). The EM10 is all that plus an electronic shutter, which I need. Now I can shoot all day without wearing out the Mechanical Shutter.
