So good!
I have used JB Weld metal bonding and am now thrilled with discovering equal qualities for plastic. I had a complicated mend and this filled the gaps, bonded and held. Not pretty; black goo on white product, but function first!

Awesome hat
Very well constructed. Variegated brim depth make it more comfortable as the brim does not hit shoulder in the back. I was hoping it was collapsible for travel, but it is so nice I am keeping it for in-town.

I own three after many tries for the perfect travel sun hat
I spent months finding the perfect travel hat and this was IT. It rolls up, packs and then is perfect on arrival. I wanted a hat without a big floppy brim + light weight, so after several attempts, I found the Summit Breeze. After using it on several beach vacations, I reached for it to garden and realized that I would damage it due to dirt, branches and sweat, so I purchased another. Both were tan/natural … the black one followed. I have had difficulty locating my smaller size and once was I was shipped a different version, so I suspect the manufacturer is no longer making this hat. It is superior due to weight, packability and the brim depth - it is not a wide floppy, vision-obstructing cumbersome headpiece. Luv it.
