Always looks new
This is the only way to protect a steel sink, be able to see it's clean and know that there is no horrible gunk underneath the mat. I replaced a flatter, rubber one by a well known designer because it was simply a germ factory, quite revolting and impossible to clean. This rack seems to keep sparkling and spotless with very little effort. So the sink looks shiny, the rack gleams and looks like it was purpose made. The only minor niggle is that the bars are spaced quite wide apart so smaller items have to be carefully positioned. A few more cross bars would have made sense.
