OK, But Shorter Sensor
2 of 2 found this helpful I installed sensor and it works fine. Please note that the length of the sensor (46 inches) is a bit shorter than the original sensor (56 inches). This shortness does not allow enough length for the new sensor to wrap around the back of the engine as originally installed. Instead, I had to securely wrap it around the front of the engine (between the fan and engine). If you don't mind this alternative installation, then the product is a good buy for your money.

Whistling issue solved!
0 of 1 found this helpful My 2008 BMW 328i 3.0L was making a loud whistling sound. I researched the issue on YouTube and the mechanics there recommended that I replaced the valve cover. After installation the whistling went away, problem solved. However, my mechanic did mention that he had an issue fitting the right-front screw of the new cover, view circled red area of first photo. The screw did not align with the hole on the engine. Hence, he had to expand the screw area so that the screw would fit. Second photo shows the new valve cover installed.

Short life for a product that should last years.
Product worked well up to 2 years. I only used the product once in a while, a couple of times a month during the first year and once or twice a week during the second year. After the 2 year mark, product simply would not inflate, showing scattered characters on the screen. I made sure new batteries were installed and even switched to using a power cord (never came with a cord), but nothing worked.
