Fast Shipping , but Defektive Part !
On the OEM spindle, all four mounting holes ate threaded to accommodate the bolts. On this particular spindle all four holes have NO threads at all.
Thank heaven I had the tools to drill the proper hole and cut the threads.
Waist of time and energy!!

A MUST component for permanent installations.
As usual, this RAM product is well built and quite sturdy.
A MUST if you want to mount a RAM cradle, cup holder, GPS or iPad case permanently.
I used this base to mount my iPad 4 on my boat, in conjunction with the RAM Tab-Tite Universal Spring Loaded Cradle, that fits the Apple iPad 1- 2-3 and 4.
