Old vs. new - old’s better!
I thought the original version in black&white with Robert Blake was a better retelling of this story except for Capote’s obvious anti-capital punishment slant. This color version was still a pretty good movie, but not a great one.

So - So programmer
Cliche filled “home front” scenes so predictable you know the lines before they are delivered. Don’t waste your time if you are looking for something new.
