It works great, is nice quality, and shipped good - no problems.
I give it 5 stars. I don't see how this replacement remote could possibly be much better. I am grateful that it is even available for such an old machine like the Yamaha DSP-3000 that dates back to around 1988. It shipped within a day of ordering and I got it in less than 3 weeks. It shipped from Oregon City, OR all the way to me in Bangkok, Thailand during New Years time. It arrived in undamaged/new condition in a bubble-padded envelope. It was fully tracked through USPS, AsendiaUSA, and Thailand Post. I like the quality of the remote; it has firm rubber buttons that feel like the durable type; when you press a button, a little round red LED light blinks so that you know if you are pressing the key enough. The original Yamaha remote had fragile buttons that broke after a few years back in 1990s and then it got lost. The DSP-3000 front panel has buttons only for basic controls, and you need the remote for full control of the DSP-3000 and its AV/onscreen menus. I no longer use the effects and I only use the DSP-3000 as just a main stereo control/pre-amp with a Yamaha M-65 that I have restored with new capacitors, trimpots, relay, and speaker terminals+PCB. With the remote, I can again sit back and control the volume like I have not been able to in decades! My old Yamaha DSP-3000+M-65+NS-2000 system will hopefully work nice for many more years to come, and the remote is the final piece.
