Cheap junk, but good cheap junk...well, whaddaya want for such a low price?
They look anodized in the ad. They are are not. It's cruddy blue paint that mimics an anodized surface but that flakes off here and there. Oh well. The metal is crudely crafted. "Fit and finish" gets a grade of D, but so what--they work as they should, and they're made of aluminum of some sort (alloy?) and will, I presume, last far longer than the cheap flimsy black plastic pedals sold at Walmart and elsewhere for about the same money as these.
I'm happy with them and I'll buy 'em again *IF* they last as long as I think they will.

Not a lot of meat on the bones
The reason I bought these was (need I say) that my current pads seemed to have become rather worn. But the new pads have only 1.5 to 2x the thickness of what's left on the worn ones. Are ALL MTB brake pads this skimpily made? Perhaps that's why they were so inexpensive. Otherwise they seem OK; no complaints, and they arrived in a reasonable time.

Just what I needed!
1 of 1 found this helpful This was ordered to replace a lost bolt. I didn't think I needed the pawl, but it was nice to put a new un-worn one in. I also didn't realize I was missing the square self-threading friction nut, which keeps the bolt from turning while the saw is running. At first I thought it was the wrong size, but then I realized that the bolt can be forced into it so that it self-threads. Nice little kit.
