Runs but very noisy
Pump gives a good amount of air, but makes way too much noise. Good for a fish room mounted remote, but actually couldn't be used in a home setting because it just makes too much noise.

For the price, it's a reliable product and simple to use.

I think the process of setting it up was easier for me because it was similar to past NetGear interface that I've used before. Probably someone without that experience would have a tougher time, although not at all impossible. Neverthless, the only think that I don't like about the product is the fact that it doesn't have an on-off switch for the wireless feature. Some of the newer products have this and if I had realized that this model didn't have that, I would not have purchased it. But everything works seamlessly with it and the signal is strong for me. I don't have a large room, however, so I'm not pushing it to any limits.

Works well but has limitations

This particular unit does not have a pilot lamp at all so one does not know if the unit is functioning properly without watching the temperature. The other flaw is probably related to its very cheap price, the cord is very short for a 300W heater. Other brands have 5 foot cords, this one is closer to 3 feet. This is very limiting since these units are typically on larger aquariums and need more length to reach. Price was best around and quality seems to be good, does not seem flimsy or weak, however, one must view temperature selection from the knob area only, likely from above in most cases. Have not had any other issues yet.
