Should have researched more
The Mikuni HSR42 carburetor is just fine and as described. The problem is I am upgrading my 1998 Fatboy (EVO) from the stock CV40 and did not research enough. Typically this Mikuni carb comes in a kit with the airbox adapter, breather tube, and some bits and pieces. This carb come alone and now I cannot find anywhere the needed parts unless they are part of a kit. Of course the kit includes the HSR42, so I am not sure what to do. I also need to change the throttle and idle cables because of the 90 degree bend. All my fault, but I am now planning to stick with the CV40 and somehow getting rid of this Mikuni HSR42.
