Bach Keyboard work
Great interpretation of a super classic!

Brilliance from the past
Despite the sound quality that never allows one to forget that this was recorded live for radio broadcasting in the early 50s the sheer brilliance of the players and the orchestras make this collection a must if one is serious about the Beethoven s works for piano and orchestra. The audience also seemed to appreciate it as they break in a spontaneous applause after the Emperor first movement.
Also the 5th Simphony is spectacular, easily one of the very best live recording of that work.
The 1956 studio recording of the 7th is better than the version included.
Overall rather accomplished.
