A 21st century Hunt for Red October
I was blow away by this first novel of Joe Buff. It's hard to imagine it was written in 2000. Intrigue, suspense, unimaginable undersea warfare scenes : it's all there. The research that went into this book is prodigious. I have never read a book on submarine warfare that dealt with the matter in such detail, and knowledge. SEALS, ceramic-hulled submarines, germ warfare, the novel is a plethora of technical data and action scenes which will keep you reading way past your bedtime. This one is a keeper. I've already ordered the sequel, Thunder in the Deep.

Awesome remastered compilation. The tracks actually sound better than their original recordings.

Might have been remastered, the sound quality is excellent. An awesome compilation of Mellencamp music.
