3 Pack NETGEAR Orbi AC3000 Tri-band Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System RBK53S

Essential for managing smarthome devices
Very easy to set up and essential if you have more than one smart TV. The satellite routers are attractive and blend into the background. My NETgear genie automatically picked up the router even though you make most adjustments from the Orbi app on your smartphone. The problem is resetting the rest of your smart home devices to work with the new router. TVs were okay but security cameras, doorbells and even Alexa require communication with their home networks to reconnect to your personal wifi. I had to take my doorbell apart to press the reset button and climb an 8-ft ladder to reset my floodlight cam. The only way I was going to reset my Echo plus was by plugging it into an outlet nearest the router itself. Get the router but prepare to spend some time getting your smarthome devices to work with it, even if the router login and password are the same.

Ideal system if you need a lot of memory and processing power
I needed a computer powerful enough to use in composing orchestral music. With its 64-bit architecture and 8 core processing, the 4,1 can easily load VST sound samples and play them back without drop-outs or pops that occur when you exceed the computer's memory and processing capabilities. My eBay seller was willing to custom build my system with 48 gig of RAM and even after loading a 30+ piece orchestra I still have 30 gig to spare. This is a powerful machine capable of running Sibelius (notation software) or ProTools, while still allowing me to use my existing hard drives. In fact, I was able to switch over from my 3,1 MAC Pro with no difficulties, even though I had to switch over three 2T hard drives and 2 512 megabyte SSDs. The new MAC Pros are sleek and take up less space but the 4,1 meets or exceeds all my needs and I plan to use this machine for years to come.
