30Pin Bluetooth Wireless Music Receiver Audio Sound Dock Adapter&Remote Control
Nov 15, 2017
Adapter works well -- giving new life to an older previously obsolete 30 pin Apple product dock.
If you have an old, now obsolete 30 pin Apple Iphone, Ipad, Ipod dock gathering dust since you have upgraded your gadgets and they use the newer connector, this product will bring new life to the old dock. Note that this only works with docks that were built to charge the devices that were docked to them. The adapter is powered by the 30-pin connector on the dock. This bluetooth adapter allows the dock to be connected wirelessly (up to 10 meters away) to any bluetooth-capable device, whether it is ios, android or windows based. This allows you to stream your music or podcasts to the dock.
The device also has a micro-sd card slot so you can load up a micro-sd card with audio files, insert it into the slot on the side of the adapter, and play them directly on the dock. Some of the buttons on the remote are specifically for this function.
The included remote is just icing on the cake -- allowing you to control the device wirelessly.
The quality of build seems to be good. I've had it connected to a dock (in my case a stereo clock-radio dock) for a couple of months now and it is going strong. The remote is small and kind of cheap feeling, but it does work.
I also find the Asian woman's voice (in English) they used to announce the bluetooth connection and status pleasant and different from the usual generic "radio" female voice that is more commonly used.
I highly recommend it.
If you are not in a hurry, ordering from a Chinese seller will save you money as well -- I don't think these adapters are easily found in Europe or North America anyway. A tip -- keep an eye out for listings that include the remote -- they don't cost much more (if at all) than the ones being sold without the remote.
Good luck bringing your old dock back to life!
I used the q6600 to upgrade a dell xps 210 to a 2.4ghz quad core processor, and it works like a champ. It brought life back to this older computer that couldn't run a faster FSB. Note that the latest bios upgrade was necessary for the computer to recognize the processor....
Brought an old Dell XPS210 back to life as a usable machine!

Also, make sure you buy the SLACR version of this processor that has G0 stepping -- the other version won't work in this computer. The SLACR version also runs cooler.
