A good tool to have
1 of 2 found this helpful It's a very lengthy download via ftp. But once downloaded it all installs correctly.
It appears to be a genuine BMW service manual and works in a similar fashion to contemporary GM and Saab manuals. The pictures are so-so, and some crucial steps are left out of some procedures, but I find this typical of most factory manuals. The writers assume the manuals are being read by experienced mechanics and not laymen.
In any case, it's a good value and works as expected. A good resource for the DIY BMW owner.

Worked as advertised
I had 2 broken lenses on a TL I was fixing up. The instructions were clear. The hardest part is getting the old glass out and scraping all the old sealant out of the groove. The instructions didn't specifically mention it, but you'll also need a tube of clear RTV sealant, or similar. These fit perfectly and look great.

Doesn't fit well but is better than nothing
I used these so I didn't have to hack up the Jaguar's factory harness. 2000 XK8. The connectors really don't fit the factory plug. They're slightly too "fat." They don't slide easily into the factory plug. I had to cram and force them together, and it appears it goes in just enough to barely latch, so I don't think they'll come apart. But they really aren't a very good fit.
