Item rec. Perfect condt. I am so impressed with the function and all the extra spare parts plus the 64MB SD installed. Already linked to my PC and 36" HDTV for medical purposes. The remote is total control. This is a base station device and has no battery for remote use, but my DM4 works for that. Thank you very much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best, Gene MD

DO Not Buy substandard parts.
Pure junk replacement. I am furious with this item. Pix below shows problem.
I am very skilled with replacing parts. Unit broke with 1/4 turn to seat.
Part shows cheap metal casting that is 1.5mm thick (Pix shown).
Metal shows gray break color, indicating of poor metal quality (Pot Metal).
An over torqued break would be a bright silver granular color, which it was not. This is not metal fatique.
The OEM was a cast bronze casing like you would fine on a plumbing fixture. I tried to clean and restore, and got it fixed enough to get the car running to go to the store to get a Delco for $60.00 on order. Still stalls on acceleration but does idle OK.
I lost my money and time on this. There is no excuse for this junk being made. I hope the person sees this and stops buying junk to sell and refunds my cost

Same GM defects
Same GM defects that GM was aware of during 1987-1994 when they changed the design that will never retrofit back to previous model years. 1995 models has two lugs that are screw latched in place and not pinned as with this model. The hard installed backing plate is made from cheap pot metal aluminum and will always fail when the temp goes below 32 degrees F. Breaks at the same outlaying pivot point and snaps off. I have replace over 10 of these in the last 6 years. Most were made in other countries than these (Taiwan) with poor substandard pot metal. Maybe these will hold up, but not likely. The base plate should be made of steel or brass and it would never fail. I should have bought a brass spring loaded single lug that was made three years ago but the company when out of business ($18.79 each). Ripping the doors apart every summer is a royal pain to replace. GM should have made speed nut lug ports in the door to make a quick fix. Bad engineering, bad design and the after market is no better. Gene MD
