Milwaukee 2726-20 M18 FUEL™ Hedge Trimmer (Tool Only)

The red marvel.

I have been a professional gardener for 40yrs during that time I have used all manner of hedge cutters ie: petrol and electric. I already have m18 tools and several batterys so decided to chance the hedgecutter I found this company in America they dealt with the import tax etc, total cost to me was £170. I decided to test it on a lonicer hedge about 40 mtrs long × 1.5mtr high the growth was about 40 cm long medium density growth . I charged 4 4ah batteries hoping that will enough. My first impression was the unit is a bit heavier than I imagined but the machine is well built and robust. The safety button on both sides and twin blades makes it easy to change direction and hands. It ripped through the hedge with almost the ease of a corded cutter I came across an ash suckling about 15 mm diameter .... no problem! The big shock is I used just one of my 4 amp batteries to do the whole job. It seem to be designed for use with a 9ah battery I say because with a little extra weight it would be perfectly balanced however 4 ah batteries are fine. Finally I loved the freedom and versatility of this professional cordless. Only time will test it's durability. But I am impressed.

I've used this product for 12 years to clean my chimney, towards the end of every burning season I just put in a couple of scoups at the end of a fire when it is low . I wait until just before the next burning season and give a quick sweep all the soot and tar just falls off. I recommend this product as it gives one peace of mind that there is no tar build up.
