Nice but...

I must start by saying I’m pretty much cheap. I would never consider spending $700 on a Tormek. I also am too lazy to lap my chisels on my stone for the time it takes. This tool makes sharpening 1- easy 2- consistent in angle 3- effective in sharpness. I used a Tormek once and I must say I did not enjoy it much. This is not unenjoyable to use and the results are 4 out of 5 stars. I can get my chisels really effin sharp with water stones but honestly they would need redoing daily or more. The finest grit paper makes my plane very adequate and my chisels too. I would recommend the Worksharp3000 to anyone who is of a modest income like me and wants a device like this. It works just as advertised
