Simple, brilliant and dear.
Simple idea, but invaluable in my craft shed, although very pricey for what it is. 2 short pieces of plastic, 2 rubber O rings and 2 small magnets. Should be marketed at least a couple of pounds cheaper than it is.

As expected
Gutermann threads are a high quality thread without doubt, but they are priced at a high price-point too. If the cost were reduced by 10-20% it would make it more affordable to the masses of domestic sewists who have to stick to a budget.
