Not perfect but also not expensive
The vertical bracket was loose so I tightened it with an Allen wrench which consequently stripped the cheap bolt, but it’s tight for now. The base is wider than previous L brackets which fit on the tripod head easier, but it does still fit. Although the bracket has hollow areas they still block access to the side ports of a Nikon d750

Great lens and price
If you want a 50 for fx nikons, this seems like the best deal.

Install from front (wide) to back (narrow)
Instructions unclear, but install it by fitting the bars in near the front/wider space in the roof rails. They narrow to become too small to fit the back rack on directly to towards the back.
