Hound heater
Works well keeping doghouse warm. Recommend door on doghouse to keep unit from constantly running and allowing it to get doghouse to desired temperature. The unit did not come with screws, washers and nuts needed to mount the unit and I think for the price, customer should be provided necessary hardware to install. I understand different applications may require different length screws but considering the price, I dont think manufacture providing a little hardware would significantly alter their profit margarine. The filter provided for fan is of poor quality and useless unless mounted on flat surface. It should be redesigned to fit over flat side of unit where fan intakes air. Mounting on a curved igloo style house leaves fan unfiltered with current design. If filter was designed to fit over the fan intake it would be useful and ensure fan fid not get clogged with dust and or dog hair. I’ve used it only a few days and do not know how durable the unit will be long term but am very satisfied with its ability to heat my medium sized igloo dog house with door-flap added to the doghouse. I gave unit four stars due to poor filter design, no mounting hardware, instructions could be more detailed with more illustrations, and unit is manufactured in China. I recommend have unit manufactured here in USA. Where this company has this unit manufactured speaks for itself as far as my expectations for long term durability. Also speaks loudly company bottom line much more important than their reputation of providing a quality product that will provide the customer with many years of use. If I would of known beforehand unit was manufactured in China, Id have looked for a different product.
