Poor Quality
1 of 1 found this helpful The screen has a very narrow viewing angle so unless you view it close to 90 degrees, it's simply unreadable - I've never ever seen a screen as bad as this. Some of the screen text is too small to read especially with such poor contrast.
Despite the screen, it Initially seemed to work well and give believable results. I then tried to test an induction motor, and although it was under a constant load, the readings varied wildly from one screen update to the next.
After a week of use, the screen froze up and there's nothing I can do reset it - no reset button, no replaceable batteries, and the case is sealed with tamper resistant screws.
Lastly, plugs are a bit tight in the socket on the front, so it makes it a little awkward to swap between devices.
I've since replaced this with a fairly similar looking plug that has a much better screen (the one that has a small reset button in the centre and no bar graph on the display).

It's IPA

Useless wire feed.
2 of 5 found this helpful The SIP Migmate welders from this era are so bad they weren't fit for purpose. There is potential to modify the wire feed mechanism (lots of info on 'Mig-Welding' forum) to make it usable, but they are otherwise best avoided.
