Great parody / spoof

A "desert island" album if there ever was one

This is the classic Rainbow line up of Dio, Blackmore, Powell... an essential rock album and truly sad that it was the last with this line up. Songs sound as fresh as they did then and none of the songs have entered the dreaded "classic rock" rotation and been played to death. If you haven't heard all the songs on this CD, you'll be surprised at just how many later heavy metal and hard rock acts shamelessly lifted rifts and vocal ideas off this and the first 2 Rainbow albums imho!

One of the absolutely essential rock albums from the 70's, if you haven't experienced it, then you are missing out.
