Really a spectacular Mac!
2 of 2 found this helpful Really a spectacular Mac (mid-2015, 11,5). Has the older style keyboard which is just a bazillion times better then the ones Apple used between 2016 and 2020. A bit thicker and slightly heavier than the later models, but it is still super fast and can handle the latest OS Monterey. Plus, it has USB ports!
Bought this for my wife to use for college and she is loving it. We're very happy with this purchase.
All this for a fraction of the cost of a newer model. No regrets whatsoever.

Impressive sound, compact, incredible value
Absolutely amazing sub for the price. I'm driving it with a Kenwood kac-511, with gains set to keep it under 150w rms, and it is thumping hard in my forester. Very clean, smooth bass. Louder than expected. I have to dial back on the bass knob or it pretty much drowns out my factory system. I am impressed. Incredible value. And does not take up much space at all.

It's a thunderbolt cable!
It's a real Apple thunderbolt cable - even says "Designed by Apple in California" along the length of the cable. Works perfectly with a PCIe expansion chassis and Pro Tools HD audio hardware. Killer deal.
