Good value for the price
Same build quality as more expensive options - lower price. Easy-ish to replace for the DIY crowd as long as you can handle a screwdriver/ratchet and don't mind laying on your back in a tight space while doing the work.

Fixed the frozen icemaker issue
This is the replacement icemaker you need if your counter-depth French door Samsung icemaker is freezing up.
Installed a few days ago and so far no issues with the new icemaker.
If you're going to fix the iceberg icemaker issue yourself instead of waiting for a resolution to the class action lawsuit, you'll need
-This item (part number ends in "C" vs. the original which ends in "A"
-A set of "Y" clips (DA82-02367A)
-Silicone or plain old painter's caulk to seal up the gaps between the icemaker housing and the refirgerator housing.
The whole thing took a couple of hours (most of it waiting for the ice to melt after removing power from the fridge), actual install took about 10-15 minutes.
It's relatively easy if you're a competent DIY type. If you're not, DON'T DO IT YOURSELF!
One of the tricky steps is to slightly bend a cooling coil out of the way to remove the old icemaker. If you mess this up you'll spew freon all over your kitchen and have a several hundred pound paperweight where your refrigerator used to be.
Video on how-to available on YouTube. The best one I found was done by an appliance parts supplier - avoid the ones from randos thinking they know best.

Good quality, but a bit pricey
Product works as advertised but at a premium price. Not sure it's worth roughly twice the cost of the competition.
If you're keeping the car a while, perhaps worth the extra price in terms of quality, but that's a big perhaps. Most all spare electronics these days are made in Asia, so not even sure this part is higher quality.
