Caldwell Mag Charger 397488

It's like magic

As those of us who enjoy shooting our AR's know..loading the 20, 30 or 40 rnd mag can get tedious...hard on the thumbs. I've got, and used other loaders......one round at a time.....time drags on, at least the thumb isn't sore...... But this Mag Charger...makes loading 30 rnd mags a breeze......takes less time than it's taken you to read this.....smooth, effortless. I bought Caldwell's 50rnd boxes, they seat perfectly w/the charger, so I load 10 mags, plus 5 50rnd boxes...and have a great, effortless afternoon at the range. Absolutely no issues, I've had no jambs, no miss-loads. Highly recommended..... enjoy, LAC

Dragon Space 11007 1/48 Apollo 11 Lunar Landing CSM Command Service Module Model

Dragon's Aerospace 1/48th scale Apollo CSM.

It's good to see Dragon re-introducing their 1/48th Apollo CSM kit. (This one is JUST the CM & SM) There will be future offerings of the LES/CM/SM/LM & SLA. I have the original "Factory Built model of this subject, this is my 1st experience w/Dragon's kit. 1.) It's very detailed, w/Nice petite engraved surface details. The CM has no interior. The docking mechanism is a very nice multi-part assembly. 2.) The SM has what seems to be an un-necessary number of parts/panels (With very poor directions throughout) Perhaps the multi-panels are to facilitate exposed SM details in later releases. Overall a very nice kit, a marked improvement over the more than 50 yo Revell kit - highly recommended.

AMT 1204 1/25 American LaFrance Ladder Chief Fire Truck

A great model of a great classic.

A great kit, of a true classic American Fire truck. AMT introduced these kits in the late '60s early 70's. The molds have "been around the block" having been used by AMT, Matchbox, now Round 2 in minor cases their showing their age, with "flash" on some parts from the prolonged use.....they still produce the essentials for enjoyable sessions making the kit: A true classic American LaFrance 900 series "ladder Chief." The latest rendition from Round 2 truly is a great kit; Crisp molding (despite minor flash) beautiful chrome plating of multiple sprues. nice decals, real, 1 piece vinyl tires. If so desired, the modeler can build the truck w/4 working outriggers, elevating, rotating & extending ladder. There is also a nice build of the engine, under the chromed engine cover. Grab this kit, along w/its matching LaFrance Pumper, LaFrance Aero Chief (Snorkel) plus the Chief Chevy, the Chevy Rescue van and PD Ford sedan, ...a great collection. Enjoy!
