Great Pikachu Themed Hardware
1 of 2 found this helpful I recently came across this piece of hardware in a YouTube video featuring Metal Jesus. It was about various N64 items and one that struck me was the Pikachu themed Japanese N64. It is a delightful combination of Console and Video Game Mascot. I personally love the Pokemon franchise and adore the two tone Orange color scheme that Nintendo chose for this console variation. The controller and console match in terms of color and work beautifully. I love how Pikachu's cheeks light up when the console is powered on replacing the more traditional power indicator led typically located on the front face of the console below the Nintendo 64 logo. I would highly recommend picking this up if you love to collect video game consoles or if you import a fair number of Japanese titles and have been using a region modified system. I couldn't be happier with this console.
