Goldwing music lover, just needed more sound!

The amplifier and speaker upgrade was a huge difference from the stock speakers. I ride with no helmet and at speeds above 65 there would be times that I couldn't tell what song was playing at 30 with the stereos auto increase as you speed up. Now, I find myself riding along with it at 10 to 15 during normal listening and maybe a little louder when a great song comes on. The speakers are loud and clear with no signs of breaking up or music deterioration. It is exactly what I wanted and expected. The installation was a bear. With help from Cruise Mans video series and a little figuring out on your own it can be done. I had just got out of surgery a few days earlier and wasn't going to be able to ride for at least a couple of weeks, so I stripped all the panels needed and got everything ready for the new equipment to show up. I also used dyna mat in all the speaker compartments. The was slightly more than a couple of square ft. You do have to cut it down and piece it in each hole to fit odd shopped interior. Putting the speakers in was easy enough and the instructions for the amplifier were simple enough as well. It requires 3 holes to be drilled in the back of the left saddle bag for plugs to be installed for cooling. It calls for 30mm my hole was slightly smaller using an SAE bit, but using the soap and water as suggested made it a non-problem. The wiring is a little tight, but as long as y ou tuck them as suggested, another non-problem. All in all the installation is easy if you take your time and not get impatient. Side note, I installed a tv in my garage to make it easier to refer to the videos during panel removal and installation. Final note, If you love your music and want to be heard when you don't have a Harley exhaust, this set up is definitely a win win!
