Not for rookies
If you are getting the 3347 for DSL service from Qwest/Century Link you can use this as your DSL 'modem' BUT, and this is a big BUT, it is not supported by CL. What that means is that you
must be able to handle all of the options presented on the menu items.
The security on this device will default to WEP. Do you know what this mean and why it is not recommended? Can you go into the menu screens to change it to WPA2? Can you rename your wireless SSID? Do you have your current name and Password from your provider (Qwest/Century Link) ?
If you are good to go on the above, then go for it. I got this unit because it has a powerful wireless reach, much better than the supported devices that Century Link has on their approved products list.
