A DVD to watch every year -- a modern Passion Play.
"In Bruges" combines some of my favorite elements in terrific style, viz: Christmas, British hit-men, top-heavy symbolism, romance among the decadent, a guy (Colin Farell) who looks like my late brother-in-law, and goose-flesh-raising black humor. One of the few movies to watch more than once. The discs arrived extremely quickly and are of first quality. I gave one as a gift to myself and one to someone else.
