Wont fit some 1957 -1959 Ford Distributors
Excellent Quality, but do your home work, the 71281 Pertronix Ignitor III will not fit 1957 to I believe 1959 Ford Distributors with centrifugal and vacuum advance that have a bearing style contact plate and vacuum advance canisters with a straight arm, I found this out even after being recommended the71281 by Pertronix Customer Help Centre. Only 1281 Pretronix Ignitor I or 91281 Pertronix Ignitor II will fit this these models of Ford Distributors.
