Oculus vs Vive
18 of 19 found this helpful The oculus has a few advantages over the vive and vice versa. Pros for the oculus, it weighs considerably less and is much more comfortable to wear for long periods. The eye adjustment also has a greater range. Cons, the sensors need to be plugged into the PC and not just powered off an outlet, so plan on spending another $15 or so to get a USB 3.0 extension. Running all the audio and video over the HDMI cable is handy in the fact that it gets everything down to one cable, but it causes some driver issues, especially since you have to run the oculus app in the background to use it, even if using steam VR home. Its a toss up between this and vive, both have pros and cons.

Good for a real sword, meh for a LARP weapon
Product is decent. Leather is a bit on the thin side, and the lacing is cheap (but that is an easy fix) . Belt is good and everything is solidly attached. Not great for LARP weapons as boffers and latex weapons tend to have very thick/wide blades, so you have to unlace the holsters almost all the way. Probably works great with anything with a sheath.
