It looks like Volvo changed the design, but it still works.
The seller was great but had no photo of the actual cover. I got the part number on my worn out original straight from the label on the cover. Mine is from a 2008 Volvo S40 T5. There is a cutout along the back edge of the upholstery to leave space for a wire going up the firewall and forward to the fusebox. The new/factory replacement part does not have the cutout. It still fits just fine. I wonder whether I should worry about chafing or something and friction wearing through the insulation of the wiring, but I don't think that it touches or moved that much. We'll see.
Regardless, the upholstery/fabric is appropriately stiff and contoured. It fits and looks as it should.
So, even though the description lists this part as being for the coupe, it is the same part number as for the 2008 S40 and appears to work.

This cabinet is small and light, but it works.
First, it is smaller than it looks in the photographs. Second, the materials are plastic, particle board and a version of cardboard. Third, it ships with a bunch of packing styrofoam, so be prepared to clean a bunch of white styrofoam dust off of all of the parts.
The particle board components do not have guide holes drilled for the screws for the hinges, screws for the striker plates or for the PVC pad tipped nails that form the feet that the cabinet is supposed to rest on. If you do not provide your own pilot holes for these items, there is a strong likelihood that you will crack and split the particle board.
The socket head screws that go through the sides of the cabinet and screw into the shelves have a conical section near the head. This centers the screw in the guide hole, but if it is tightened completely, it will crack or spall the particle board of the side of the cabinet.
The assembly directions are pretty simple, and are easy to follow. The only caveat is that the directions do not give dimensions or some other advice for locating the screws for the hinges and striker plates on the doors or locating the PVC nail feet.
Once it is assembled, the cabinet is structurally sound. The paint is thin in spots, and it is easy to scrape or chip it, so you could do well to have a Sharpie or some touch up paint to make the surfaces neat and pretty.
I would recommend it, as a cabinet or as the starting point for a furniture project.
