Wooden Boatbuilding, How to build a Dragon Class Sailboat
Very good diagrams, "how-to" explanations, and illustrations about traditional wooden boat building in general and specifics about the Dragon racing sailboat in particular. This design would not be a beginner-level, quick to do project (the author took six years to build his boat, 2000-2006), and it was not inexpensive (over $28,000). They are beautiful and fast racing boats, and were one of the racing classes for the Olympics for many years. I admired these boats for many years in the 1960s and 70s, in regattas in the southern tip of Lake Michigan around the Chicago area, but I am too old to tackle a project like this. However, it was fun to read about it.
