Thank you.Reply from: petergooeyduck- Feedback replied by buyer.- Feedback replied by buyer.Regarding the non locking lower position issue, I was able to disassemble the steering column and repair/modify the part causing the column to not retain the lowest tilt position, (and also to only have 3 positions instead of 7). This problem will be inherent in all tilt columns from this supplier as it is a slight mis design of the left side internal locking pawl. An inexpensive fix, but labor intensive, requiring almost complete disassembly. I thought you should know.

good original equipment quality
Original AC Delco part, appears to be of good quality, about 1/2 price compared to GM parts quote.

great fit, a quality repair kit
The window rubber seal kit appear to be of good quality and they fit perfectly. The kit fixed the wind whistle and drafts by my legs around the front of the door at highway speeds. A little on the pricey side, but there is no other alternative if you own a 35 year old vehicle.
