Good solid quality professional camera, in the right hands.

Second one purchased. First so good I upgraded my backup. Did all the research and found that really the only difference of any substance between the 1D, 5D and the 7D occurs at very high ISO where the full frame is a bit better. Not something I have to worry about in a studio. As the 7D is a cropped 1.6 I even save on the L series lens', not requiring the extra length. I notice even canons new version of the 1D, the 1DS is going to be cropped to 1.3. There is a message to all professionals insisting on full frame, the high tech side of digital has changed so try and keep up. Highly recommend this camera for professional and hobby photographers. Save your cash, buy this camera and spend the change on one or two L series lens'.
