Worth a look

I don't need to use a slide often in our band, and when I do, I am still playing rhythm guitar for most of the song. Traditional full length slides really restricted what chords I could play, especially up the neck, so I gave this a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works for my needs. I can do short slide solos and still play most of the chords I need without changing how I normally play. I can understand why they used velcro to be the "one size fits all" connecting material but I plan to replace it with a looped bit of elastic that is smoother and less bulky. At the price it is definitely worth a look.

Best dual op-amp I’ve tried to date

I have an original Kinki Studio EX-M1 integrated amplifier that has 4 singles and 1 dual op-amp that can be “rolled” to obtain a different sonic character. I’ve tried various combinations of op-amps from different companies and find that the Sonic Imagery 994 dual, in combination with 4 Staccato singles, has provided the most detailed, open, musical SQ outcome in my system to date.
